What inspired you to enter the automotive industry, particularly focusing on high-end and custom vehicles?

My fascination with cars started when I was just a kid, playing with model cars and imagining driving the real things. As I grew up, I realized that the cars that excited me the most weren’t just any cars—they were the ones that had a story, a uniqueness. This passion for unique, story-rich vehicles naturally drew me to the high-end and custom vehicle sector. The ability to take something standard and transform it into something extraordinary is what really drives me.

Can you share how your personal values have shaped your business practices?

Absolutely, my personal values of integrity, excellence, and innovation are at the core of everything we do at Amari Motors and Amari Customs and Designs. I believe that the way you do business can and should be a reflection of who you are as a person. This belief guides our operations, from the way we handle transactions to how we interact with clients and our community. We strive to operate transparently and push the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive design.

What recent project at Amari Customs and Designs are you most proud of?

We recently completed a project where we restored a 1970 Dodge Challenger. This wasn’t just a restoration; it was a complete reimagining of the car, integrating modern technology while preserving its classic soul. The client gave us creative freedom, and the final product was not only visually stunning but also a powerhouse performer. This project stands out because it encapsulates everything our company is about—craftsmanship, innovation, and passion.

How does the technological advancement in electric vehicles influence your business?

The rise of electric vehicles (EVs) is something we’re incredibly excited about. It’s not just an environmental or technological shift; it’s a design revolution. The different requirements of EVs allow us to rethink how vehicles are structured. We are currently exploring how to blend our custom designs with EV technology, creating custom electric cars that stand out for their aesthetics as well as their performance.

What strategies do you employ to stay ahead of industry trends?

Keeping ahead of the curve involves continuous learning and being deeply involved in the automotive community. We attend international auto shows, participate in forums, and collaborate with tech innovators. Additionally, we invest heavily in research and development within our company. By fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity, we keep our designs fresh and exciting.

As a leader, how do you foster creativity and innovation within your team?

I believe in giving my team the freedom to explore and experiment. Innovation can’t flourish under micromanagement, so I encourage an environment where new ideas are welcomed and tested. We hold regular brainstorming sessions where no idea is too outlandish, and this often leads to our most groundbreaking projects. It’s about creating a safe space for creativity that really pushes our designs to the next level.

What role does customer feedback play in your business?

Customer feedback is vital. It’s not just about customer satisfaction but also about evolving our products. We often follow up with clients to see how they are enjoying their vehicles and if there’s anything they feel could be improved. This feedback loop helps us refine our designs and services, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed expectations.

Could you discuss your philanthropic efforts and why they are important to your company culture?

Giving back is a fundamental part of our ethos. We support various charities, particularly those focused on education and environmental conservation. We also run workshops for young people where we teach them about automotive design and engineering. I believe businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to their communities, and these efforts are a way of doing just that.

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs looking to enter the luxury automotive market?

My key piece of advice is to focus on what sets you apart. The luxury market is saturated with products that are excellent but similar. You need to offer something unique—whether that’s in your product design, your customer service, or your brand story. Also, never underestimate the importance of building strong relationships with your clients.

Looking into the future, what are some of the goals you have for Amari Motors and Amari Customs and Designs?

Looking ahead, I want to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive design, particularly in integrating more sustainable practices into our work. We are exploring the use of recycled materials and more environmentally friendly processes. Additionally, I see us expanding our reach globally, not just in sales but also in influence, setting industry standards for innovation and sustainability. We’re not just building cars; we’re building the future of cars.
